The East Providence City Council met on October 20, 2026, with Council President Bob Rodericks presiding. Councilman Rick Lawson, Council Vice President Frank Rego, and Councilwoman Anna Souza were present, while Councilman Fogerty was excused to attend a neighborhood fundraiser. The council opened with an executive session regarding a memorandum of agreement with EPMAS Local 3223 concerning license stipends, which was subsequently reported out as having passed unanimously. Upon returning to open session, the council approved the consent calendar and bundled and approved several one-day entertainment and alcohol licenses. | |||
